This frog mini was inspired by the Mozambique species (Breviceps mossambicus). It’s cast in porcelain gypsum and carefully hand-painted. It’s life-sized, measuring about 1.75” (4.5cm) in diameter.

Rain frogs can be found in the desert of South Africa and Namibia. They have a mighty squeak and love to bury themselves deep into the sand. Sadly they’re a vulnerable species in the wild, but have captured the hearts of many including myself and this is my tribute to them.

This piece is uniquely handmade, so there may be minor imperfections in texture and paint job. It’s truly one-of-a-kind!
