These rain frogs minis were inspired by the Bushveld species (Breviceps adspersus), they’re cast in porcelain gypsum and carefully hand-painted. They’re life-sized, measuring about 1.75” (4.5cm) in diameter.

Rain frogs can be found in the desert of South Africa and Namibia. They have a mighty squeak and love to bury themselves deep into the sand. Sadly they’re a vulnerable species in the wild, but have captured the hearts of many including myself and this is my tribute to them.

These are uniquely handmade, so there may be minor imperfections and slight variations in texture and paint job. Each is truly one-of-a-kind!
