These frog minis were inspired by the Strawberry species (Breviceps acutirostris). They’re hand-cast in white porcelain gypsum, textured and carefully hand-painted. They’re life-sized, measuring about 1.75” (4.5cm) in diameter.

Rain frogs can be found in the desert of South Africa and Namibia. They have a mighty squeak and love to bury themselves deep into the sand. Sadly they’re a vulnerable species in the wild, but have captured the hearts of many including myself and this is my tribute to them.

These pieces are uniquely handmade, so there may be minor imperfections in texture and paint job. Truly one-of-a-kind!
