This beautiful humpback whale is a combination of slip-cast and hand-built methods, carefully crafted from delicate porcelain. It was fired to bisque, then glazed with a multiple glazes to create a stunning marbled effect in the kiln. It measures roughly 7×16.5 cm.

These gentle giants can live for 80 to 90 years. They have some of the longest migrations of any mammal. Due to years of hard work and conservation efforts, they’ve been removed from the endangered species list.
